Late night TableTalk, Invaders! Hagan went on a pretty magical hike and Katie is doing an event in NYC at her new favorite “If I had to pick one place to live from the places we’ve Invaded.” Hagan is jealous, and can only assume Katie is a little bit as well… Getting on a hiking kick recently! Oh, and if you’re also in NYC, don’t listen to anyone who tells you not to get a car - the second you learn to appreciate the city more is the second you know you can leave and explore everything the ‘burbs and beyond have to offer.
Onto the Talk!
Invader Hagan lived pretty much above this place when he and Katie started dating, little did they know they would be regular patrons years after moving out of the hood, out to California. If your searches are coming up empty for tonight’s must-have spice, this should be your last stop. They make their own rose water, and if you want a fill-in-the-blank water, we're almost positive they can make that for you.
Our music discovery has gone way down over the last few years and we’re changing that today. But seriously, Invaders - why didn’t you tell us about this? You had to know. Really digging the first song right now, It’s going on the PlaceInvaders playlist (that you can follow if you’d like). See if we get better over the next few months. It’s gonna be the Summer of George!
On our way across country a few years ago, we were on our way to a friends’ weekend and were charged with buying a lot of interesting beer for the party in as many states as possible. Our goal was to get the ones we had already known about, and the rest we would decide on by logo design. We picked up a few of these beeyoooties, and now the rest are in our sights. How many of these cans have you had?
Immediately, we remembered this video from the MTV series The State. Other than a big roast, the only thing we use our kitchen thermometer for is getting the water to the right temperature for gelatin. And you know the next step… Because baby that’s what I do every night; I cook, and then I chill. The slo-mo video, while satisfying, left me longing for more penetration.
Half of PlaceInvaders, serial-entrepreneur, Hagan, had a business selling Facebook Like Stickers for a hot minute right around when he and Katie met for the first time! What a trip down memory lane this TableTalk is… These reminded him that selling shit on the internet isn't easy, but it can be lucrative. Those masks look pretty well-made, and we may have bought a set.
